And that is what's really happening now: the original gangsters of metal just gave us their brand-new Whiskey called . So metal, right? Founded with the late Master Distiller Dave Pickerell, the Whiskey is tucked away next to subwoofers that blast low-frequency sound waves to enhance the molecules. It might sound like just another celebrity gimmick, but the studies and critics are both saying there is something to this music treatment. We’re no scientists, but we can confirm the Whiskey is delicious AF .

A limited-edition release in the Masters of Whiskey Series, Blackened X Willett Cask Strength Rye Whiskey is a really unique collaboration between Master Distiller & Blender Rob Dietrich from Sweet Amber Distilling Co. and Master Distiller Drew Kulsveen of from Bardstown, Kentucky. Drew and Rob tasted and selected barrels from Willet's Family Estate Selection and finished the liquid in Madeira casks – this is where the Black Noise sonic-enhancement process comes in. The Metallica playlist was selected by Drew and Rob with Lars Ulrich, Metallica cofounder and drummer, sequencing the songs. The final result is bottled at cask strength of 54.8% ABV and the complex palate is full of earthy and sweet tones – it's the perfect balance between dry, oaky, and sweet.
